School-Home Relations
At ELS, there are various effective means of communication with the parents. They are as follows:
1. Parents Meetings:
Regular parent meetings are arranged to give updated feedback to parents. Dates arranged for these meetings are fixed on the School Calendar.
These meetings that take place in classrooms, are meant to discuss any academic or behavioural issues with the teachers or with the administration.
2. Channel Book:
Urgent messages are sent to the parents via the channel notebook or enclosed letters with the student or the school bus matrons.
1) Individual Counseling:
Parents are also welcome to meet the staff to discuss individual urgent matters ONLY. These appointments must be arranged through the school telephone operator only. The appointments will be arranged on Mondays and Wednesdays.
2) Principal Office Hours:
Parents are also welcome to meet the School Principal for any suggestions, inquiries or complaints on Tuesdays from 10 am -- 12 noon.
This should be also arranged through the school operator.
