Expectations
As a student in E.L.S I will:
* Be polite & courteous to all
* Be responsible for my actions &develop self— discipline in life skills.
* Respect the property of others & care for the school environment
*Be punctual for all school activities.
*Have respect for each others point of view.
* Move sensibly around school and with a minimum of noise as not to disturb others.
* Wear the proper school uniform.
* Have a positive work ethic & meet deadlines & personal targets.
* Be a role model in & out of school to promote a positive image of the school in the community.
* Converse in English when around campus, on bus tour and when representing the school in the community.
As parent (s) I / we will.
* Attend whenever possible, school events and consultation evenings.
* Encourage my child to meet homework deadlines.
* Reinforce the importance of my child wearing the proper uniform.
* Ensure my child attends school on regular basis.
* Be punctual for school events.
* Support the school policy & guideline for behavior.
* Ensure that my child comes to school properly equipped.
* Let the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behavior.
* Respect the teachers work time and fix appointment with the school office to discuss any issues.
* Encourage my child’s use of English within the school and on journeys to and from school.
* Encourage my child to be punctual for buses and start of school.
