Job Description




The Head of Department is required to lead, manage and develop the department to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.

  • Be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with the school vision and mission.

  • Develop and sustain appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with teachers, staff, students, and parents.

  • Be an active member of the school and contribute to the overall leadership and management.

  • Ensure the best possible student learning outcome through instruction and assessments.

  • Ensure the adherence to the assessment regulations and procedures of the school.

  • Create and exploit new opportunities for knowledge transfer activity to explore new areas of teaching strategies.

  • Ensure that staff performance is managed appropriately and in a way that is consistent with the expectations of the school, and that fair workload allocation processes are in place.

  • Model a culture of excellence, co-operation and respect both within and beyond the department.


  • Job Requirements




    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

    • International background (Education & Experience).

    • International school Graduate is preferred.

    • A teaching certificate/ diploma is preferred.

    • 3 years of experience with a strong academic record.

    • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills

    • Highly proficient in spoken and written English

    • Positive and flexible to be able to adapt to changing circumstances

JOB DESCRIPTION




The school counselor should be a caring, inspirational, passionate, creative and innovative member of staff. He/She should be an outstanding motivator and communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, and should be capable of being an effective member of the school and supporting the school community through a stimulating, and well-organized environment.

He/She will be responsible for:

- Develop and implement effective school counselling programs to meet students’ needs
